YUKON is a loveable, fun and goofy guy. He loves people and loves to be right beside you and will lick your hand to let you know he’s still there. He’s been neutered, vaccinated, including a rabies shot and microchipped. 
He came into rescue from Port Hope where he lived with quite a few other dogs. He gets along well with the dogs he’s met and would be happy to be in a home with a sibling or two. He’s never met a cat so we’re saying a cat free home with no critters to be on the safe side. 
He's really good with children and would be suitable for all ages seeing as he doesn’t jump up and won’t be knocking them over. He really is a gentleman and very calm so another reason why he would be good with children. 
He sleeps in his crate at night and is quite happy to go in there. He sleeps right through the night without a peep too. In the daytime he likes to lay on his bed and just chill out. 
YUKON’s really good on his leash and walks without pulling and is really happy to be outside in the fresh air and have a big walk with you. He hasn’t had any formal training at all but he does sit nicely when you ask him to before he gets his meals or treats. He’s a very smart dog and has learned new things very quickly. When he first went to his foster home, he did have a couple accidents but after just a couple of days he soon realized that bathroom breaks are for outside. 
He walks very well on his leash and is not a puller at all. He would suit a home with a fenced yard as he likes to run and play outside in the snow.
