About ALASKA | |
|
|
ALASKA has had his second vaccines including rabies, microchip and he’s been deemed a healthy boy by the vet. He’s a loveable puppy who’s already displaying the traits of being a Lab/Pyrenees. He has a great disposition and just loves people. He’s a very laid back and chill puppy who’s very calm in the house. He’s also very submissive and not an in your face puppy at all.
He’s doing really well with his foster and is receiving some basic training. He walks well on his leash and loves going on walks, hikes and just running through the snow. A fenced yard is definitely required as he loves to be outside and run around to burn off some of that puppy energy.
He sleeps well in his crate and sleeps right through the night without a peep. When it’s time to get up then he’s charged and ready to enjoy his day.
He is basically house trained and will let you know when he wants to go outside for a bathroom break.
ALASKA’s in a home with 3 large dogs and 1 small dog and gets on well with them all and will back off when he knows they’ve had enough of his puppy antics. He’s never met a cat but he’s such a gentle soul and if the cat is dog savvy then we do think he can live with one. He will be great in a home with children as he’s not a nippy puppy, doesn’t jump up on you and responds well to a firm NO.
Being part Great Pyrenees, he does have that guarding instinct in him and will need an owner with breed experience and one who’s a strong leader. An active family would be ideal as he’ll need lots of walks and exercise in general.
ALASKA loves to play with toys of all types and is happiest when he’s running around with one of them in his mouth. The hard rubber toys are his favourite and he will play with them all day if he could. As with all our puppies, we do require him puppy training to make him be the best puppy he can be.
His neuter is included in his adoption fee and he’ll receive that when he’s about 6 months of age. If you would like to adopt ALASKA then please fill out the adoption application.
