PHOENIX is a loveable and sweet girl who’s microchipped, vaccinated including rabies and will be spayed by the time she gets adopted. Her vet has deemed her a healthy girl and ready for adoption. This poor girl was found as a stray, tied up to a railing where she stood for at least 2 nights. That ordeal has not affected this little sweetheart at all as she’s just a happy-go-lucky fun pup.

PHOENIX is a sweet, sassy love machine who is a bundle of happy energy who loves playing with toys and the furry siblings in her foster home. She gets along well with dogs and people of all shapes and sizes but is a little wary of strangers but warms up really quickly. She has not met a cat yet.

PHOENIX is house trained, crate trained and sleeps quietly in an uncovered crate all night long. She car rides and is a great passenger in the car. She is not leash trained AT ALL and is horrible on her leash. She’s a very strong girl and will pull until she chokes herself if she’s allowed to. She could benefit from a no pull harness or gentle leader to help her on her leash walking skills.

PHOENIX loves to run around in a tall fenced in yard and loves to run but she shouldn’t be allowed off leash in an unfenced area just yet. In fact, she should be kept on leash for at least the first two weeks in her new home until she forms a bond with her new family and learn the rules and boundaries. She is very much a flight risk and as of this moment, she’ll attempt to escape from any open door or jump any low barrier.

If you are looking for a sweet, happy, snuggly, super smart girl to join your family, then please put in an adoption application for PHOENIX.
