MONET is part of the Artist litter who travelled from White Dog (Wabaseemoong) with her 4 siblings to find their forever home down south. She’s had her first and second sets of vaccines, a microchip and been deemed healthy by her vet and ready for her new family. We have no information on her mum or dad so we’re referring to her as a mixed breed or “Northern breed” and to say she’s a Parson Russell Terrier/Lab is truly a guess. Due to having no information on her parents, we also have no idea on what size she will grow to be but med/large seems highly likely for her.
MONET is the most outgoing in her litter and she’s super smart. She was the first one to understand that walks are also a time to use the bathroom and from day one, she has been going outside quite frequently. She just loves to go for walks and gets excited when she sees the leash as she knows it’s gone to go on one. Her ideal family would be an active one to take her on those walks and hikes in the woods to give her the exercise she needs as well as take her on adventures. She travels really well in a vehicle and just sits there quietly when she’s in one. We’ll need her new home to have a fenced yard so she can run around and burn off that puppy energy and to help keep her safe. She loves to snuggle and nestle in your lap and will have a nap on you too. She really loves to be with her people and is use to someone being with her for most of the day. She is so gentle that she would suit children aged 4 and up as long as they’re dog savvy, gentle and considerate to her. She goes to baseball and soccer games and everyone loves to see her there and the children run over to greet her. She gets excited when she sees them but she’s not a nippy puppy at all but she sure is a licker and a kisser.
MONET is crate trained and will sleep through the night in it without a peep. She will also go in it during the day for a nap or just to chill as she knows it’s her safe place to be. She’s well socialized with other dogs as she has 3 in her foster home and she loves to interact with them, she’s also met lots on her walks. She’s met a cat but isn’t too interested in him so as long as a cat is dog savvy then they should get along just fine.
As with all our puppies we do require you to get her obedience training so she can be the best puppy possible. Her spay is included in her adoption fee and will be performed by the time she’s 6 months of age and we need you to be in agreement with this in order to adopt her.
If MONET sounds like your type of puppy then please put in an adoption application for her.
