BEACH BALL is an affectionate boy who hails from the community of Webequie and headed south to find his forever family. This super smart handsome boy is neutered, vaccinated including for rabies and microchipped. We have no information on his parents but we do know there’s a recessive dwarfism gene in his community and we’re pretty sure he has it. He looks just like a Shepherd with short little legs. He may be a little guy but he has a big personality and is perfect companion for someone who wants a lapdog or a quiet dog.
BEACH BALL loves nothing better than to be outside playing, running around and going on walks. Due to his love of the outdoors a fenced yard is required for him to keep him safe. He has 2 dogs in his foster home and the younger one has become his best friend. They sleep in the same crate together at night and she follows him everywhere he goes. As much as he loves his crate he also loves to have snuggles with you on the couch or even sneak up on the bed and curl up beside you. He’s just a love bug and wants to meet every dog he sees when he’s on his walk and wants the people he meets to make a big fuss of him. He walks well on his leash but would benefit from some additional training for him to know what’s expected of him on it. He’s great with children but does get excited when they come over to pet him, we do recommend children aged 6 and up.

BEACH BALL would love a family that loves the outdoors as much as he does and will take him on walks and lots of adventures. He’s great in the car and really enjoys going on road trips. He’s housetrained and has never had an accident in the house. Although he’s in a foster home with other dogs we do feel he would be fine as an only dog as long as his people were home during the day with him. He has 3 cats in his foster home and he just wants to chase or play with them but if he’s called away from them he’s fine and leaves them alone. Dog savvy cats are definitely recommended along with slow introductions.
