OPAL finds herself looking for a new loving home due to her previous owner leaving her behind when she moved. Thankfully someone noticed her outside for a couple of days and set a trap for her. Once trapped our rescue was contacted to take her and find her a loving home. She’s had a flea and tick bath (none were found on her) and had a dose of dewormer. She’s spayed, microchipped and vaccinated including her rabies shot.
OPAL has come such a long way since she’s been in foster care and has now become a lovely affectionate cat who loves to be around her people. She’ll sit on the couch with them to snuggle and purr contentedly and while hoping to get belly rubs. She’s so smart and now responds to her name and will let you know when she needs something like supper or those tasty treats. She’ll now run to the door when she hears it open and foster mum walk in. One of her favourite things to do is snuggle up on the couch and purr contentedly. She’s also turned into a very playful girl who loves to run around and chase her cat toys across the floor. She also loves to bask in the sun and will seek out that nice sunny spot in a room and lay there in the sun rays. Her cat tree is one of her favourite places to be too and she’ll curl up on it and have a nap. We know she lived in a home with other cats so she’ll do fine with another one or she could quite easily be an only child. As far as we know she didn’t live with a dog but with proper introductions and if the dog is cat savvy then she should be okay to live with one.
If the lovely OPAL sounds like she would fit into your home then please put in an adoption application.
