|
AMBER came from a TNR station and was found alongside about 30 other kittens with at least 6 adult cats. She was plucked to safety and ended up in our rescue and placed into foster care. She’s had her first set of vaccines, a microchip and has been deemed a healthy girl by our vet.
She’s also received dewormer and had a flea & tick bath (none were found on her.) She was extremely timid when she first came into her foster home but has come such a long way since then and has now become an affectionate girl looking for belly rubs, loving and wanting to sit in your lap.
AMBER has made such a turn around and gone from a timid kitten to an outgoing playful one who’s so entertaining to watch. She gets up to all sorts of antics and will climb anything she can. She spends hours chasing her toys around the living room and pouncing on the feather toys. She does have her down time and one of her favourite things to do is climb the cat tree and relax in it or find that sunny spot in the room and bask in the sunrays. She’s still a bit skittish with strangers and will hide under the couch for awhile before venturing from under it to check them out. There’s a large dog in the home and she now snuggles up with him so would suit a home with a cat savvy dog. She’s with her brother (Garnet) in the foster home so would definitely suit being with another cat. AMBER and GARNET aren’t a bonded pair but they could certainly go to a home together. Children aged 6 and up are recommended for her and ones that will be respectful towards her.
AMBER’s spay is included in her adoption fee and will be performed by the time she’s 6 months of age.
