About CARAMEL | |
|
|
CARAMEL hails from Moose Lake in Northern Manitoba and came down south with her sister and two other puppies to find her forever family. She has had her first and second set of puppy of vaccines, is microchipped and has been deemed a healthy girl by her vet and ready to go to her new home. We have no info on either of her parents so the breeds we have listed for her and the weight she’ll grow to be is just an educated guess. This friendly, outgoing little girl has a tail that doesn’t stop wagging and gets so excited whenever she sees someone.
CARAMEL is crate trained and sleeps quietly in it all night. She will also go in it during the day and snuggle up with her teddy for her nap. She loves to go on walks and gets excited when she knows she’s going on one. She’s getting so much better walking in her leash too but like all puppies, she will try and pull you along. Housetraining is still a work in progress but she does know to go outside for a bathroom break and often goes for one on her walk. She’s food motivated so food training is very easy for her as she loves those rewards so it works well. She will sit for her meals and is being taught to take her treats “gentle.”
CARAMEL will only bark when she’s sees another dog in the distance when she’s on her walks. She gets really excited when she spots a dog and the closer they get the quieter she gets as all she wants to do is meet them and have a play. She’s just such a happy-go-lucky little girl and loves her people. She’s extremely snuggly and all she wants to do is sit with anyone and snuggle up to them. She loves chewy, rubbery toys and has just discovered the noisy squeaky ones and what fun they are. She’ll run around and chase balls and play tug-of-war with the rope toys. This little girl is very social and loves playing with the other fur fosters in the home. She requires a fenced yard to keep her safe and children should be aged 6yrs and up and be dog savvy. She’s met a kitten so should do well with a cat but introductions should be slow and monitored. It will also help if the cat is dog savvy.
Puppies are fun and cute but also require a lot of work, patience and dedication to training. We need her adopter to be in agreement to sign her up for obedience/puppy training in order to adopt her. Her spay is included in her adoption fee and will be performed by 6 months of age. We also need you to be in agreement with this in order to adopter her.
If you would like to meet CARAMEL then please fill out the adoption application to do so.
