|
BARISTA hails from Cat Lake in Northern Canada and came down down south with 5 of her puppies in search of finding a family to call her very own. Her puppies have all been adopted but she is still patiently waiting for her turn to find one. She’s spayed, UTD on vaccines including rabies, microchipped and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. Her breeds are just an educated guess based on what she looks like as we have no knowledge of her parents. This sweet, lovable girl will be a great addition to just about any home and she wants nothing more than to be with her humans.
BARISTA is crate trained and sleeps soundly in it throughout the night and will seek ut out in the day for a nap. She’s housetrained and has never had an accident in the house. She does well on a leash and loves to go on walks on the trails and in her neighbourhood. She’s very friendly with all the dogs she’s met so would suit a home with a fur sibling for her or equally, she could be an only child. She’s been to several events in the community and has done so well with the children she’s met of various ages, other dogs and many people. Everyone has commented on what a loveable girl she is and she’s been very popular with everyone. We do recommend children be 6 and up as she can get excited when she meets them and could possibly knock down smaller ones. She loves to play fetch with a rubber ball and generally just give it a good chase around the back yard and this is a great way for her to burn off some energy too. She does require a fenced-in yard to keep her safe and so those balls don’t run away on her. She would love an active family who enjoys walking, going on the hiking trails and loves the outdoors as much as she does. She wants her new family to know that she’ll always be up for an adventure or two as well. She had a long drive from Thunder Bay to Barrie with no travel sickness so she should do well when travelling in any vehicle. She should NOT be in a home with a cat as she has a very high prey drive.
If BARISTA sounds like the girl for your family then please put in an adoption application to meet her.
