RIBENA hails from Deer Lake in Northern Ontario and came south with his 2 siblings in search of his forever home. She’s had her first and second sets of vaccines, is microchipped and deemed healthy by her vet and ready to find her family. The breeds that we have her noted as are just a guess as is the weight she’ll be as an adult. This quiet little girl loves to cuddle and be with her humans and wouldn’t do well in a home where she was left alone a lot. Although she’s quiet she’s pretty bossy to her brother (TIZER) and she keeps him in line. If he has a toy then she has to have it so she’ll take it from him then he’ll chase after her to get it back but he never does. He’s just a little gentleman and lets her get her own way. 
RIBENA sleeps in her crate at night without a peep and will take the odd nap in it during the day. She loves to go on walks and gets excited when she knows she’s going on one. She’s good on her leash but like all puppies, she does pull and like to run ahead of you. She walks on a double leash with her brother and is comfortable doing that. She’s well socialized with both cats and dogs as she plays with the 2 kittens in her foster home and will run around and play with the 2 small resident dogs as well. When she’s playing with them her little tail doesn’t stop wagging as she’s just so excited and happy to be with them. She would definitely benefit from having another animal in the home whether it be a cat or dog. She requires a fenced yard so she can be kept safe and we recommend children be aged 6 and up although she does have exposure to young children who are very puppy savvy.

RIBENA loves all sorts of toys but does seem to favour the fluffy ones. She’s also quite partial to shoes, boots and slippers so it’s best to put them up high where she can’t reach them. Her housetraining is a work in progress as she’s not old enough to ask to go outside but she will go on the newspaper that’s by the door if she’s not taken outside soon enough. She takes her treats “gentle” and always sits for them plus her meals. 
RIBENA’s ideal family is one that will take her on lots of walks and hikes. She loves the outdoors and travels well in a vehicle so will always be up to for an adventure or two. 

Puppies are fun and cute but also require a lot of work, patience and dedication to training. We need her adopter to be in agreement to sign her up for obedience/puppy training in order to adopt her.  
Her spay is included in her adoption fee and as per our rescue policy, will be performed by 6 months of age. We also need you to be in agreement with this in order to adopter her.
