SHEARS is part of the Garden Tool litter and came down south with his 2 sisters Pruner snd Tiller to find their loving homes. They’re from Slate Lake and were found with 15 other puppies that were just wandering around with a few adult dogs. He’s a quiet, loving little guy who loves to be around people and has lots of tail wags for them. He’s fostered with a few other dogs and they all get along well together. 
SHEARS is crate trained and sleeps soundly in it at night with his teddy bear. He’s no yet housetrained due to him just being a puppy but he is using pee pads and will go to the bathroom outside whenever he’s taken out. He’s just started to go on walks and being a puppy likes to pull. He does wear a harness to help slow him down though. He’s met a few dogs in his walks and he’s always excited to meet them as well as their owners. Children should be aged 6 lots and he does require a fenced in yard. He’s fostered along with some kittens and is very gentle with them so should be okay with a cat in the home especially if they’re dog savvy. 
SHEARS is just like any other energetic puppy so he’s looking for an active family who can meet his exercise needs and take him on big walks and hikes. He’s always going to be up for an adventure or 2 as well so an adventurous family would definitely be right up his alley. He lives to play with all sorts of toys but his favourite is definitely the chewy, rubbery ones. He’s also just learning to chase a ball to play “fetch.” He’s working on his manner so will sit for his meals and treats.
Puppies are fun and cute but also require a lot of work, patience and dedication to training. We need his adopter to be in agreement to sign him up for puppy/obedience training classes in order to adopt him. 
His neuter is included in the adoption fee and must be performed between 6 and 8 months of age or before he’s 60lbs (whichever comes first.) We also need his adopter to be in agreement with this in order to adopt him as part of his rescue agreement.
