|
CHISEL is part of the Tool litter who came south with her 4 litter mates from the Northern Ontario community of Sandy Lake. she’s had 2 sets of puppy vaccines, is microchipped and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. We have no information on either her mother or father so her breeds and the size she’ll grow to be is just an educated guess. This beautiful girl is so sweet and cuddly and just loves to cuddly up with you. She’s a carefree, happy girl just knowing her people are around.
CHISEL is crate trained and sleeps soundly in it all night. She will also go in there of her own accord during the day to take a nap. She’s just started to go on walks and like all puppies, will pull on her leash. She ‘s working on housetraining and uses pee pads when inside the home. She’s taken outside first thing in the morning and after her meals and most of the time she’ll do her business then. This energetic little girl loves to play and chase her toys around and she really likes to chew on the rubbery ones and Nyla bones. She has several dogs in her foster home and she plays really well with them. She also has several kittens in the home and she loves to chase them around and she’s very gentle with them. She would do well with a cat in the home but we do recommend a slow, monitored introduction. We do require children to be age 6 and up and she needs a fenced yard to keep her safe when she’s outside playing.
CHISEL is looking for an energetic family who can give her big walks and long hikes to help her burn off her puppy energy. She travels well in a vehicle so will always be up for an adventure or two. She would love to have a fur sibling but she would do well as an only pet too provided her adopters don’t leave her alone for most of the day. She’s learning her manners and will “sit” for her meals and she’s very “gentle” at taking treats.
Puppies are fun and cute but also require a lot of work, patience and dedication to training. We need her adopter to be in agreement to sign her up for obedience/puppy training in order to adopt her. Her spay is included in the adoption fee and must be performed by the time she’s 6 months of age. We need her adopter to also be in agreement with this as per our Rescue requirement.
If CHISEL sounds like a girl that will fit into your household then please complete the adoption application to meet her.
