IMAGINE hails from the Keewaywin Community in Northern Ontario and she came down south to find her very own family. She’s vaccinated including rabies, microchipped, had dewormer and was told by her vet that she’s a healthy girl and ready to find her forever home. We have no knowledge on her parents so her breeds are just an educated guess. We do believe she has some JRT in her also due to the look of her face and how she likes to burrow into a bed or blanket. The size she’ll grow to be is also a guess and we do feel she’ll be more of a small to medium sized dog.
IMAGINE is crate trained and sleeps soundly in it all night and will also go in it during the day for a nap. She is just about housetrained and will go on newspaper kept by the door in the foster home. She’s taken outside regularly for a bathroom break as she doesn’t know enough to ask to go outside just yet. she loves to go on walks
Where did IMAGINE’s name come from? Well she came to us as a shut down, extremely scared little girl. It took her 2 days to even leave her crate but the no talk, no touch rule was enacted and she finally crept out of her crate. Her tail was between her legs for at least 5 days and when she was picked up, she was like a statue as she never moved out of the position she was in. All we could think of was “imagine the lovely girl that she’s going to be” so the name IMAGINE just seemed so appropriate for her. She has come such a long way since that first week in foster care and is now thriving, loving life and just a happy tail wagging little girl. She’s in a foster home with several other puppies and she loves to play and run around with them. She also has a few older, bigger dogs in the home and she’s always very excited when she sees them. She would definitely love her new home to have another dog but would be equally happy as an only dog provided she has someone with her for the best part of the day. She did have kittens in her foster home and she would run around and play with them so a home with a cat would be suitable for her. We do recommend a slow, monitored introduction for them though to make sure the introduction goes off well.

Puppies are fun and cute but also require a lot of work, patience and dedication to training. We need her adopter to be in agreement to sign her up for obedience/puppy training in order to adopt her.
Her spay is included in her adoption fee and will be performed by 6 months of age. We also need you to be in agreement with this in order to adopt her. The adopter can opt to get it done at their own vets office and we’ll reimburse what we would’ve paid at the SPCA but the timeframe must remain the same in order for us to do so.

If you would like to meet IMAGINE then please put in an adoption application to meet her.
