CARROT came from a hoarding situation in a Northern community and came south to find his loving family. He’s been neutered, UTD on vaccines, had Revolution plus dewormer, a microchip and been deemed a healthy boy and ready for adoption. This very unique looking boy has the most unusual powder blue eyes and a cream body that looks like a dilute Siamese and then he has the Tabby striped legs. When you first meet him he’ll walk by you at a distance and just watch to see if you’re friendly and once he deems you are, he’ll then come over to see you. After just a few days in his foster home he’s now coming over to his foster mum for petsx and also to sit on her lap for short stints. He’s affectionate and in typical Siamese fashion, loves to know someone’s around.
CARROT is litter box trained and has been since he came into rescue. He’s in a home with 2 other cats and a large dog and gets along with them all in fact, to the point that he’ll now snuggle up to the cats and also initiate playing with them. He’s not quite there with the dog yet but they do live in harmony. He spends part of his day in a raised cat bed and loves to look out of the window and keep an eye out for squirrels and birds to watch. He loves to chase the cat toys around but seems to favour anything noisy like the crinkle toys or balls with bells inside. He loves Temptation treats and he now knows that when the bag is shaken that it’s treat time.
CARROT would do well in a home with another cat as he seems to enjoy their company but he would also do well as an only cat provided he wasn’t left alone all day. If there’s a dog in the home then they should be cat savvy and gentle with them. We do recommend keeping the dog leashed until they get used to the cat and it can be seen they will get along. If there’s children in the home they need to be over 6yrs old plus loving and gentle towards animals.
If CARROT sounds like the boy for you and/or your family then please submit an adoption application to meet him.
