  RIVIAN
RIVIAN hails from Constance Lake and headed south to find her forever family. She’s spayed, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. She was found all alone with no other family around so the breeds we have her listed as and the weight she’ll grow to be is just an educated guess. This super sweet young lady enjoys being around people as well as other dogs. She knows all the basic commands and sits nicely for her meals plus will take treats “gentle.”  RIVIAN is house trained and she knows she’s to take her bathroom breaks outside and when she’s on her walks. She’s crate trained and the odd time will complain when she goes in but she does settle down quickly and then will sleep quietly in it all night. She’ll also take her naps in it during the day. She loves to go on walks and does go on several during the day. She has lots of toys she plays with and is quite happy when she has a bone to chew on. She’s very social and has a few dogs in her foster home and she really enjoys chasing them and playing in the yard. It should be noted that she was recently adopted but then returned to the rescue due to an interaction with a cat in the home even though she was fostered with a cat with no problems at all. The adopters weren’t there for the initial interaction so they’re not sure what triggered the two to basically have a fight. The cat is doing okay but it could’ve been much worse so we’re saying no to cats in the home as a safeguard. Once she was returned to rescue our wonderful puppy trainer said she would take her to foster. She’s doing great with her and is becoming used to a structured routine. The trainer has noticed that she can be bossy so a dog savvy adopter for her would be ideal. She also has some tendencies to resource guard but nothing crazy that she can’t be trained out of. She also mentioned she has a lack of impulse control and that’s being worked on with the trainer. She has been around children and they all love her but if there’s any in the home we are saying they should be aged 10 and up due to her getting so excited that she could possibly knock them over.  RIVIAN’s ideal family (besides being very dog savvy) would also be a very active outdoorsy type who’ll take her on lots of walks and hikes in the woods. She travels well in a car so she’d love to go where you go and that includes adventures, camping and trips to the lake as she loves to go swimming. She will need a family that’s committed to continue her puppy/obedience training. This of course can be continued with our trainer but you can take her to your own trainer to continue her training if preferred. This is required to make sure she’s the best girl possible and the adopter will learn how to be the best parent possible to her and meet all her needs. A fully fenced-in yard is required for her so she can run around and play to burn off some of that “Rivian” energy.  If RIVIAN sounds like the perfect girl for your active home then please submit an adoption application to meet her.
  CRICUT
CRICUT is a local surrender and we had his 4 sisters back in November last year and they were known as the Craft Litter. They were all Calico's so he is in fact part Calico. He’s neutered, vaccinated including his rabies shot, microchipped and has been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. He’s just getting used to being in his foster home and getting used to the other cats around him. He was an only cat in his previous home so he’s not used to sharing his space with others so is a bit timid with them but on the whole, is adjusting very well to his new environment. He’s already exhibiting how loving and friendly he is in the way he’s coming over to his foster for head and chin scratches.  CRICUT is litter box trained and has been since he came into foster care. He’s very chill and quite happy to be playing with his cat toys and chasing the little balls around. He loves to relax in the cat tree and will happily sit there by the window and watch the wildlife outside. He loves his food and treats are always on the menu for him or at least so he thinks. He’s a bit wary of the resident dog but as he didn’t live with one before he is slowly getting used to him being around. He should do well with a dog in his new home as long as the dog is cat savvy. We strongly recommend the dog be introduced to him slowly and be leashed until they become well acquainted with one and other. He’s warming up to the other cats slowly but surely so we feel he would do well with another one in the home but he can be an only child as long as he’s not left alone for long periods of time. He’s lived with children so would be a good fit to a home with them and we do require them to be aged 6 years and up plus be loving and gentle towards animals.   If you love the sound of CRICUT and you think he’d fit into your home then please submit an adoption application to meet him.
  CHIVE
CHIVE hails from the Northern community of North Spirit Lake and came south with her siblings Basil, Dill & Sage. She’s received her first vaccines, a microchip, dewormer and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. The litter were found all alone with no mum so her breeds and the size she’ll grow to be is just an educated guess based on what she looks like. She’s an active little lady who loves to run around and play with her siblings and chew on her teething toys. She’s very outgoing and adventurous but also very snuggly and loves to sit in your lap.  CHIVE is crate trained and sleeps quietly in it at night and will nap in it during the day too. House training is still a work in progress and she will go on newspaper in the home if she isn’t taken outside quickly enough. She’s just started to go on walks and she’s a quick learner with leash walking and she’s slowly learning that she can go to the bathroom while outside too. Walking sometimes can be a bit slow as she loves to pick up sticks and chew on them along the way. She has good manners and will sit for her meals and take her treats “gentle.”  CHIVE’s ideal family would be an active one that loves to go on hikes and walks in the woods. She does well in a vehicle so will always be up for a drive and especially if it leads to an adventure for her. She’ll do well in a home with other dogs as she’s fostered with several of them and they all get along. She’s also fostered with 2 kitties and is very curious about them and will sniff them but not much else. If there’s a cat in her adoptive home we recommend a slow and monitored introduction while she’s leashed. She should do well as an only pet in the home provided she’s not left alone for long periods of time. Children should be aged 6yrs and up plus be loving and gentle towards animals. She does require a fenced-in yard so she can be kept safe while she has a run around and play. Puppies are cute, playful and fun but also require a lot of time, patience and dedication to training. We do need her adopter to be in agreement to take her for puppy/obedience training to help her to become the best girl possible. Her spay is included in her adoption fee and her potential adopter must be in agreement to have her spayed by the time she’s 6 months of age. The surgery will be at the Barrie SPCA but you can use your own vet and we’ll reimburse you what we would’ve paid for it there. In order for the rescue to do so we need the spay requirements to still be followed plus a copy of the procedure invoice and a picture of her (preferably in her onsie or cone) in order to do the reimbursement. We do post the picture on our fb page along with other pets that were “fixed” in the same week.  If CHIVE sounds like she’ll suit your family and lifestyle then please submit an adoption application to meet her.
  ZOUT
ZOUT hails from the Northern community of Mishkeegogamang and came south with his siblings (Fennel, Cardamom, Anise and Saffron) to find his forever family. He’s received his first set of vaccines, a microchip, dewormer and been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. We have a picture of his mum and she’s a white Husky of around 50lbs and we can only assume dad was a Lab due to the colouring of 2 of his siblings. Dad’s breed is just a guess though and we really don’t know his breed or what size he was. This laid back, chill boy has a lovely soft coat and a loving nature. He loves to play with the many dog toys he has in his foster home and he has a Nyla bone to chew on to help with his teething. ZOUT is crate trained and sleeps quietly in it at night and will also nap in it during the day too. House training is still a work in progress and he will go on a pee pad in the home if he isn’t taken outside quickly enough. He’s just started to go on walks and it’s slow going as he has never worn a collar or leash before. He’s also slowly learning that he can go to the bathroom while outside on her walks too. ZOUT’s ideal family would be an active one that loves to go on hikes and walks in the woods. He does well in a vehicle so will always be up for a drive and especially if it leads to an adventure for him. He should do well in a home with another dog seeing as he’s a puppy and accepting of other dogs. He hasn’t met a cat but if there’s one in the home that’s dog savvy then they should get along. We always recommend a slow and monitored introduction to other animals in the home while the new dog is kept leashed. He should do well as an only pet in the home provided be’s not left alone for long periods of time. Children should be aged 6yrs and up plus be loving and gentle towards animals. He does require a fenced-in yard so he can be kept safe while he has a run around and play. Puppies are cute, playful and fun but also require a lot of time, patience and dedication to training. We do need his adopter to be in agreement to take him for puppy/obedience training to help him to become the best boy possible. His neuter is included in his adoption fee and his potential adopter must be in agreement to have him neutered by the time he’s 9 months of age or 60lbs (whichever comes first.) The surgery will be at the Barrie SPCA but you can use your own vet and we’ll reimburse you what we would’ve paid for it there. In order for the rescue to do so we need the neuter requirements to still be followed plus a copy of the procedure invoice and a picture of him (preferably in a cone) in order to do the reimbursement. We do post the picture on our fb page along with other pets that were “fixed” in the same week.  If ZOUT sounds like he’ll suit your family and lifestyle then please submit an adoption application to meet him.
  SAFFRON
SAFFRON hails from the Northern community of Mishkeegogamang and came south with his siblings (Fennel, Cardamom, Anise and Zout) to find his forever family. He’s only one of a few puppies that his foster knows of that will curl up on her lap and have a snooze there. He loves to play with the many dog toys he has in his foster home and he has a Nyla bone to chew on to help with his teething. SAFFRON is crate trained and sleeps quietly in it at night and will also nap in it during the day too. House training is still a work in progress and he will go on a pee pad in the home if he isn’t taken outside quickly enough. He’s just started to go on walks and it’s slow going as he has never worn a collar or leash before. He’s also slowly learning that he can go to the bathroom while outside on her walks too. He has a cat in his foster home and he’ll just chase her around but he’s gentle with her. He’s also fostered with 2 puppies and he doesn’t like them around him she he would suit being an only dog in the home.  SAFFRON’s ideal family would be an active one that loves to go on hikes and walks in the woods. We do post the picture on our fb page along with other pets that were “fixed” in the same week.  If SAFFRON sounds like he’ll suit your family and lifestyle then please submit an adoption application to meet him.
  CARDAMOM
CARDAMOM hails from the Northern community of Mishkeegogamang and came south with his siblings (Fennel, Anise, Zout and Saffron) to find his forever family. He’s received his first set of vaccines, a microchip, dewormer and been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. We have a picture of his mum and she’s a white Husky of around 50lbs and we can only assume dad was a Lab due to the colouring of him and one of his siblings. Dad’s breed is just a guess though and we really don’t know his breed or what size he was. CARDAMOM’s a friendly, playful puppy who’s eager to please and learn new things. He’s the biggest male in his litter and probably the most laid back as well. He has a lovely soft coat and it’s a mix of white and blonde so pretty unique looking. He loves to play with the many dog toys he has in his foster home and he has a Nyla bone to chew on to help with his teething. CARDAMOM is crate trained and sleeps quietly in it at night and will also nap in it during the day too. House training is still a work in progress but he has caught on that bathroom breaks are for outside and he has very accidents in the home. He’s doing well with his leash walking and has now progressed to wearing a Martingale collar and he also wears a harness. He’s also slowly learning that he can go to the bathroom while on his walks too. CARDAMOM’s ideal family would be an active one that loves to go on hikes and walks in the woods. He does well in a vehicle so will always be up for a drive and especially if it leads to an adventure for him. He should do well in a home with another dog seeing as he’s a puppy and accepting of them but it should be noted he’s not a fan of large dogs. He’s very respectful of the dog savvy cat in his foster home so should do well in a home with same. We always recommend a slow and monitored introduction to a cat in the home while the puppy’s kept leashed for introductions. He should do well as an only pet in the home provided be’s not left alone for long periods of time. He’s a very fast eater so he’s currently using a slow feeder bowl and it would be a good idea to continue using one for him until it’s seen that he can eat his meals slowly. If there’s another dog in the home then it would be best to feed them far enough a part so that it  never becomes an issue. His neuter is included in his adoption fee and his potential adopter must be in agreement to have him neutered by the time he’s 9 months of age or 60lbs (whichever comes first.)   AUDEMARS
AUDEMARS hails from the Northern community of Poplar Hill and came south with his mum and (Luminox) and siblings (Hublot, Fossil and Zodiac) to find his forever family. He’s received his first set of vaccines, a microchip, dewormer and been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. His mum weighs approximately 38lbs/17kgs and she’s a white Husky mix but we have no info on the father although we are guessing dad was a Lab due to the colouring and temperament of the puppies. He’s the most cautious out of the Watch Litter but that doesn’t mean he isn’t down for adventure. He’s always been a little more hesitant to join in their hijnks but once he’s confident it’s okay and he’ll be so, so brave. He loves people and is always looking for his foster parents while his siblings are busy playing.  AUDEMARS is crate trained and sleeps quietly in it at night and will also nap in it during the day too. House training is still a work in progress as he’s just starting to learn to go to the bathroom outside. He’s just starting to go for short walks on a leash and harness but hasn’t quite mastered walking as of yet and he seems quite happy to just sit down and relax rather than take a few steps. He’s noted as having erect ears but he does have one erect and one droopy but we’re pretty confident he’ll end up with both ears erect. He is quite food motivated so we recommend he use a slow feeder and be fed in his crate. He’s just working on his manner and to sit for his food and take treats “gentle.” AUDEMARS ideal family would be an active one that loves to go on hikes and walks in the woods. He does well in a vehicle so will always be up for a drive and especially if it leads to an adventure for him. He should do well in a home with another dog seeing as he’s a puppy and and he has two medium sized dogs in his foster home. There is a cat in his foster home too but he hasn’t had too much interaction with him so if there’s one in the home that’s dog savvy then they should get along. We always recommend a slow and monitored introduction to other animals in the home while the puppy is kept leashed. He should do well as an only pet in the home provided he’s not left alone for long periods of time. Children should be aged 6yrs and up plus be loving and gentle towards animals. He does require a fenced-in yard so he can be kept safe while he has a run around and play.   HUBLOT
HUBLOT hails from the Northern community of Poplar Hill and came south with his mum and (Luminox) and siblings (Audemars, Fossil and Zodiac) to find his forever family. He’s the biggest one out of the Watch Litter and he knows it! He loves his food and will hang around his humans in the hopes of getting more than his litter mates. He’s not as energetic as his litter mates and seems to be quite content to amble along rather than run full tilt although if food’s involved, then he’s 100% on it. HUBOLT  is crate trained and sleeps quietly in it at night and will also nap in it during the day too. House training is still a work in progress as he’s just starting to learn to go to the bathroom outside. He’s just starting to go for short walks on a leash and harness but hasn’t quite mastered walking as of yet and he seems quite happy to just sit down and relax rather than take a few steps. His ears are droopy ears but they are starting to lift up and in their way to becoming erect. He is highly food motivated so we recommend he use a slow feeder and he be fed in his crate. He’s just working on his manner and to sit for his food and take treats “gentle.” AUDEMARS ideal family would be an active one that loves to go on hikes and walks in the woods. He does well in a vehicle so will always be up for a drive and especially if it leads to an adventure for him.   LUMINOX
LUMINOX hails from the Northern community of Poplar Hill and came south along with her 4 puppies to find living homes. She was a loving, attentive mum and now she deserves to get that loving family she’s always dreamed of. She’s spayed, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. We can definitely see the Husky in her but not so much the Lab but she does have the loving, soft nature of one. So basically the breeds are just our assumption and she probably has many more in her too. She’s a bit under weight so could still do with gaining a few pounds which she should now seeing as she’s no longer nursing her puppies. She’s a sweet girl who just wants snuggles, toys and food. She loves her people and will be their shadow and follow them room-to-room because she doesn’t want to lose sight of them. Belly rubs? Did someone say belly rubs? This girl absolutely loves them and when she has her fosters full attention, she’ll then flop onto the floor and roll over so she can get that full-on belly rub.   LUMINOX’s crate trained and will sleep well in it at night but isn’t such a fan of it in the daytime. She does well on her walks but we do not recommend anytime soon that she be off leash for her until her new owner is well acquainted with her and she’s very trusting of them. She is housetrained and will let you know when she has to go outside for a bathroom break. She loves her belly rubs and will lean into her foster to let her know she wants them. When she has their full attention she’ll then flop on the floor for her to give them to her. She enjoys car rides - once she gets in there that is. She has the funniest quirk of when she k is she’s going somewhere she’ll flop on the ground and go limp. However, she’s fine to be picked up and her smaller size makes it easier to manoeuvre her. She’ll do this sometimes at night when it’s bedtime and time to get her into her crate. She does this as she’d much rather stay with her people and she envisions herself lying on the bed rather than in the crate. She’s fostered with 2 dogs and loves to play with them plus chase them in the yard. She has a cat in her foster home as well and was very interested in her at the start and just wanted to chase her. She’s now a lot better with her but if there’s one in her new home they should be very dog savvy and as always, we recommend a slow monitored introduction while the new dog is held on leash until they are well aquatinted. She hasn’t met any children yet so we are saying they should be aged10 plus. LUMINOX is just learning how to play with toys and loves the squeaky ones. She has to be monitored with them though as she’ll chew through them pretty quick to get at that squeaker. So we’re recommending the toughest toys for her like the Kong brand and Nyla bones to chew on. She’s very food motivated so it’s very easy to teach new tricks and commands with treats. She already knows sit, paw, down, come and stay to name a few. Although she already knows these commands we do strongly recommend that her new owner take her to obedience/training school and it’s also a great way for her owner to bond with her. She’s great at sniffing out kibble too and has raided her kibble bin a couple of times so food should be kept well out of her reach. She doesn’t show any signs of  resource guarding with people when it comes to food or toys and they can safely be taken from her. However, she does resource guard her food with other dogs so they’re all fed separately and it would be advisable to feed her in her crate if there’s another dog in her new home. She does require a fenced in yard and one that is secure as she’ll go on a mission to find gaps in it and try to escape. She does have a prey drive and will try to chase down bunnies and other critters but luckily she hasn’t managed to catch one yet.  If LUMINOX sounds like she’d fit into your home then please submit an adoption application to meet her.
  TIGER EYE
TIGER EYE hails from the Dryden area and came south along with her mum, Gem and her Gemettes, Amethyst and Zircon, to find her loving forever home. She’s had her first set of vaccines, a microchip, dewormer and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. The funny thing with this little lady is that it was assumed that she was a male like most Ginger’s but when she went to the vets our “he” was in fact a “she!” She’d definitely the quietest one in the litter and will often sit back and watch as her siblings actively run around and play. She will have her share of playing though but only when she feels like it. TIGER EYE is litter box trained and she’s never had an accident outside of the box. She loves to eat both kibble and wet food but her favourite thing of all is to eat Temptations treats especially just before she’s told nite, nite. She won’t come to you though but rather sit there all lady like for you to put the treats in front of her. She tends to like playing more with the stuffie type cat toys but will also chase the balls around that have a little bell in them. She’s in a foster home with puppies so would be comfortable in a home with a dog as long as the dog is cat savvy and a slow, monitored introduction is made. There’s also a cat in the foster home so he would suit being with another cat. Children should be aged 6 plus and be gentle, loving and  caring towards animals.  TIGER EYE’s spay will be performed at 4 months of age and will be booked by the time of her adoption. We do need her adopter to be committed to bring her to Barrie for her spay appointment. Her spay can be done at her adopters own vet clinic and the rescue will reimburse what we would’ve paid for it at the Barrie SPCA. However, it would still have to performed in the same timeframe to receive the reimbursement and we also need a copy of the spay invoice to do so. We also require a picture of her and preferably in her onsie or cone as we post pictures of our animals when they get spay/neutered on our fb page.  If you would like to meet TIGER EYE then please put in an adoption application to do so.
  AMETHYST
AMETHYST hails from the Dryden area and came south along with her mum, Gem and her Gemettes, Tiger Eye and Zircon, to find her loving forever home. She’s had her first set of vaccines, a microchip, dewormer and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. This beautiful girl is your typical active Calico who loves to be busy and play with all types of cat toys. She’ll sit with her foster but not for long as she soon wants to get back to playing with her toys and siblings. AMETHYST is litter box trained and she’s never had an accident outside of the box. She loves to eat both kibble and wet food but her favourite thing of all is to eat Temptations treats especially just before she’s told it’s bedtime and nite, nite. She tends to like playing more with the stuffie type cat toys but will also chase the balls around that have a little bell in them. She’s in a foster home with puppies so would be comfortable in a home with a dog as long as the dog is cat savvy and a slow, monitored introduction is made. There’s also a cat in the foster home so she would suit being with another cat. Children should be aged 6 plus and be gentle, loving and  caring towards animals.  AMETHYST’s spay will be performed at 4 months of age and will be booked by the time of her adoption. We do need her adopter to be committed to being available to bring her to Barrie for her spay appointment. Her spay can be done at her adopters own vet clinic and the rescue will reimburse what we would’ve paid for it at the Barrie SPCA. However, it would still have to be performed in the same timeframe to receive the reimbursement and we also need a copy of the spay invoice. We also require a picture of her and preferably in her onsie or cone as we post pictures of our animals when they get spay/neutered on our fb page.  If you would like to meet AMETHYST then please put in an adoption application to do so.

GEM hails from Dryden and is mum to the Gemette’s Litter (Tiger Eye, Zircon and Amethyst)   who came south to find their loving families. She’s spayed, vaccinated including her rabies shot, microchipped, had dewormer and also Revolution.m plus she’s also been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. She was just a baby having babies but she was a very caring mumma to her kittens and after doing her duty, it’s now her time to find that perfect family to settle in with. She’s very much a Torti and although loving she only wants to be with you on her terms and when she feels like having a fuss made of her. She will purr when she comes to her foster and will also knead on her leg. Her favourite place to sit is on the window ledge and looking outside watching the bunnies and birds go by.  GEM is litter box trained and has been since first coming into foster care. She’s very meticulous and is constantly grooming herself. She kept her babies very clean too and was always giving them a good wash down and making sure they were clean. She’ll lay in the hammock that’s in a the catio and have a sound sleep in it. She seems to prefer kibble to wet food and her favourite snack is Temptations. She’s got into the habit of having them right before bedtime and come around 10 o’clock, she’ll start to get excited knowing she’s going to have them.  GEM’s fostered with puppies and it did take her sometime to warm up to them as she was very defensive of them being around her kittens. She’s yet to be caught snuggling next to a puppy though and the odd time she’ll still hiss at them. The funny thing is that when they’re sleeping she’ll stealthily walk by them while staring at them as if to check them out. She’ll suit being in a home with a cat savvy dog but we do recommend a slow, monitored introduction while the dog is kept leashed. She has another cat in her foster home and they do live in harmony but again, not snuggling up together yet. She can be the only cat in a home as long as she isn’t left alone for long periods of time. Children should be aged 10 plus and be loving, caring and considerate to animals. If GEM sounds like the perfect fit for your family then please submit an adoption application to meet her.
  KAYAK
KAYAK is a local surrender who through no fault of his own found his way into Rescue. He’s neutered, had his first set of vaccines including rabies shot, microchipped and been deemed a healthy boy by our vet. We have him listed as a Corgi as we were told he came from a so called breeder of  Corgi’s but we have no proof of that. He’s currently fostered with our wonderful dog trainer and she’s bringing out the absolute best in him plus getting a good understanding of him too. In her words “he’s a sweet, loveable boy with his humans and there’s nothing he likes better than to snuggle up with them.“ KAYAK is crate trained and has now become quite relaxed in it. It has been noted that he has some guarding issues so he eats all his meals and special treats in his crate. He’s housetrained and will let you know when he needs to go outside for a bathroom break. He’s been well cared for and has no major issues but he does struggle with some dogs as he is a bit bossy. He likes toys and being outside but mostly he just likes being with his people. He’s lived with a cat before without incident so should suit a home with one. We always recommend a cat should be dog savvy and a slow monitored introduction should be made while the dog is kept leashed. He did live with children previously with no issues so we’re recommending they be age 6 plus and be gentle and loving to animals. He does require a fenced-in yard as he loves to run around and play outside. KAYAK’s ideal family will be an active one who loves the outdoors as much as he does. He would love to go on lots of walks and hikes in the woods. He enjoys going in a vehicle and travels well in it too so he’d always be up to going on adventures or even on a camping trip..We do need his adopter to be committed to continue his training and take him to obedience training to help him be the best boy possible. The training will also help him and his adopter form a bond and understand each other better.  If KAYAK sounds like he’ll fit into your family and lifestyle then please submit an adoption application to meet him.
  PARSLEY
PARSLEY hails from North Spirit Lake in Northern Ontario and headed south to find his living family. He’s neutered, vaccinated including his rabies shot, microchipped and been given a clean bill of health by his vet. We have no knowledge of his parents so his breeds are just a guess based on what we figure he looks like. He’s full grown so we know that’s the size he’ll be give or take a few pounds. He’s a calm, loving dog and is very sweet with people.  PARSLEY is crate trained and will sleep quietly in it at night and will also take naps in it during the day. He’s housetrained and will let you know when he wants to go outside for a bathroom break. He walks well on his leash and really enjoys going on his walks and gets excited when he knows he’s going. When he first went to his foster home he didn’t know how to play with toys as he’d never had any before. We’re happy to say that once he settled into the home more he started to play with the toys and running around with them, he even has a few favourites that he’ll be taking to his new home with him. He also enjoys running around the yard with his toys and he’s even started to play fetch. He’s fostered in a home with 2 female dogs and they get along really well together so he would suit a home with another dog. He was quite nervous of other dogs when he came into the rescue but he’s now a lot more social and doesn’t shy away from meeting new dogs. PARSLEY would love an active family that likes to go on adventures, long walks and hikes in the woods. He’s in a foster home with a very dog savvy 5yr old and he’s very gentle around her so he would suit a home with children but they should be aged 6 and up and be gentle, carny and loving towards animals. To our knowledge he hadn’t met a cat so we’re not recommending he be in a home with one. He does require a fenced yard so he can play outside and run around safely.  We do recommend that his new owner take him to trading/obedience classes as he’s never had any formal training plus it will help to form a bond with him and his new owner and turn him into an all round great dog.  If PARSLEY sounds like a dog that will fit into your family then please submit an adoption application to meet him.
